Problems with Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter?

I’ve had GRAW for about two weeks now, and it always locks up on me. It’s not after a certain point/command/action, just about every half hour or so, it just freezes up. The whole thing locks up, audio/video/controls, it all goes out. I’ve updated drivers, pulled down the resolution, and it still doesn’t work. ANY!! ideas?

I had something similar happen to me a year ago. The problem was that my video card was overheating and causing the system to crash. So I opened the case up and blew a fan into my computer while I played. It worked great until my brother spilled a glass of water on it. Needless to say i don’t have the problem anymore… So you can try this, but be very careful. Before you do try it, try finding a temperature program for your motherboard. Most motherboards have thermometers that shut the system down before it gets too hot. So google a temperature program and run one and see how hot it gets in there, that might give you a better idea.
