Do not get me wrong. This guide is awesome. So why just 3 stars? Well, I must be clear honest. The maps are somewhat difficult to read sometimes. When you play the game, press start to get a picture of the map when you start to feel a little lost, or just want to know where you are. When you do this, you get to choose between watching it in two ways. One is a flat, un-detailed map, while the second is a 3D map that can be rotated. That’s where the problem comes in maps in this book is very detailed and almost does not look exactly as you can watch on your TV screen map. Also how the map will be shown in the book is often shown in a different angle then what you see on your TV, making it difficult to even say where you är.Jag’m sure someone can come up with a lot of this stuff out with a bit of time, but why would you? I want to play the game, not read a book all the time while I play. I really just want to see some readable maps, and when I choose to read other stuff maybe later. I have lost many times, in the belief that the map in the book I looked at was not the one I played on. Well usually it was, but I was really hard to try to figure it out. They should have made the maps in this book, as they did in Snake Eater Metal Gear3 book. There you have a clear example of large maps. Other than that rant, I must recommend this book to all Metal Gear fans, because all the content is impressive. It has some really cool pictures of characters and gives some good advice. You can not go wrong, this guide, but not really expecting an easy time to look at maps. Rating: 3 / 5
I’m not a big fan of the game. . . I will try to sell it with the strategy guide. . . It came recommended from the people at GameStop, but I am more a more direct confrontation of the war / fighting games, and it is more about sneaking around and trying to avoid killing enemies and be discovered. I tried to play a couple of times, but it’s just not for me. Strategy Guide is the new set, so hopefully I’ll find someone who gives me more for the set than GameStop will. Rating: 4 / 5
Of all the strategy guides that are available there, from the Piggyback is the best, interpretation, artistic, content is highly recommended! Rating: 5 / 5
There have and displays all the great things that make the game perfect. It illuminates every point in the game and tell you where everything is and how to get there (including playoffs performance). It gives you in-game tips on the most effective routes to take when you play the game without revealing any spoilers. The only small issue I have found this guide is its “map orientation” because it does not fit perfectly with the map that appears in the game, however, to combat this, you only need to tilt the guide lateral, diagonal or upside down to fix the problem. Ultimately, it is a good and helpful guide in total. Rating: 5 / 5
An excellent guide! with detailed information about the characters, scenarios, Easter eggs, and “two positions” one of the players in normal difficulty mode and for players who are trying to get their hands on the Big Boss Emblem! The stunning graphics and positive text! Definitely worth buying! Rating: 5 / 5
